Tsunami occurred on 26th December, and in India more than people were killed due to the massive attack. The worst affected districts in Tamil Nadu were Viz. After a week there were incidents of outbreak of mosquito transmitting diseases such as malaria, and dengue. Methods: We received notification of WHO-defined measles cases through stimulated passive surveillance. We collected information regarding date of onset, age, sex, vaccination status and residence.
