My personal philosophy of life is to live in peace with. My personal philosophy has grown greatly since starting Palmer College of Chiropractic. Before coming to school I did not know that even a philosophy existed. I knew I wanted to join this profession because I got a glimpse of what Chiropractic care can do to people. While deciding what school I wanted to attend, I weighed heavily how many techniques were taught, how many clubs were offered, and what study abroad options were available.

Please join StudyMode to read the full document. When I was younger, I would always be more focused on the things that people had. I would look at my other cousins, and since their parents had better jobs than my mom, they would have nicer clothes, or the newest video games before I did all the time. This would make me feel really self conscious throughout my childhood, not necessarily because I was worried about not getting as much as they would. When I turned 16 and got a job, I had decided that I was going to save all my money, and eventually get all the nice things that my cousins had. It was at this same time too, that I had started to fall in love with the idea of going to concerts, and finding new music to listen to.

My Philosophy of Life Essay

Another way our church shows community is through missions teams. A mission team is a group of people who are willing to use their time to serve those outside of the church in the local community and abroad. Locally, this team goes out and supports ministries such as Verity, food drives, downtown events and the Candy Carnival in order to help those with needs in the neighboring community. This affords them the opportunity to show the community that the church cares for them.
I have a few personal core values that I have stayed with me so far throughout my life. Some core values of mine are patience, listening, kindness, giving, and having passion. Listening is also important to me because it can help you relate to another person and also help you learn new things.
